What Makes Our Show
Greener?
- We
are doubling up on all marketing materials rather than print separately
in a limited print run.
- Encourage
online
communication for the use of all materials
- Promote
the
use of social networking, individual websites, and blogs for marketing
our show.
- Print
on recycled paper and
double sided.
- Properly
dispose of paper
usage into recycling bin.
- Encourage
our audience to
return and recycle Festibills and our playbill at the end of each
performance.
- Promote
the use of public
transportation for performances and rehearsals
- Encourage
promotion of energy efficient lighting and turn out the lights when not
in use.
- Borrow
props, scenery,
furniture and/or costumes before creating or purchasing new ones.
- Promote
the
use of reusable water bottles, cups, plates, utensils etc.
- Properly
dispose of scenery, sets, and props and donate, reuse and recycle where
possible. Dispose or recycle with organizations that promote
sustainability and can put your items to good use.
- Construct
our scenery to ensure easier breakdown and recycling once show has
completed.
