A desperate mother must choose between rummaging through garbage cans or selling her daughter’s eggs. And then kidney, womb. Rather than crying “Sing out, Louise,” she takes a more Sweeney Todd approach when a Tony Soprano guy threatens to break their legs. A dark comedy about the cost of love.
