| What Makes Our Show Greener?
In a perfect world, every child would be nurtured by a loving family, attend a challenging and exciting school and live in a supportive community. But the sad reality is that not every child has these opportunities. The Children’s Aid Society fills the
gaps between what children have and what they need to thrive.
The Children’s Aid Society fills the gaps between what children have and what they need to thrive. We have been serving children for more than 150 years, a longevity that is a testament to our ability to adapt to the always changing needs of today’s youth. After all, you don’t succeed for 150 years by being old-fashioned. The Philip Coltoff Center at Greenwich Village has been providing outstanding programs and services to the downtown community since 1892. The center is currently offering a range of services that includes Early Childhood, Nursery, After School, Children's Art, Children's Theater, and Adult programming. The Philip Coltoff Center at Greenwich Village is proud to operate under the auspices of The Children's Aid Society. The Center's mission is to be a center of community life, to provide high quality programs and sponsor events that enrich the social, cultural, intellectual and creative lives of the children, families and community at large. The Center offers scholarship support to children and families to facilitate their participation in these programs.
