Patrick Bancel
Born in France, Patrick Bancel has been painting since he was five years old. As a leading artist in trompe l'oeil ("trick the eye" perspectival illusionism), his work goes beyond that genre and also surpasses photorealism and hyper-realism. He studied at Van Der Kelen Superior Painting Institute in Brussels, Belgium, and at the Beaux Arts de Paris in France. Bancel has had numerous exhibitions in France and the U.S., including at the New York National Arts Club, Chelsea Art Museum, National Museum of Marine (Trocadero, Paris) and Salon des Artists Francais (Grand Palais, Paris).

Tommy Barz
In the true spirit of Planet Connections Festivity's quest to "go green", Tommy Barz specializes in "found object art" whereby he recycles materials into his artwork. His theme for this exhibit is UFO Art. He has exhibited around New Jersey and had a successful run at Chashama theater in Manhattan during Spotlight On's 2004 Theatre Festival. Barz also specializes in dark comedy poetry and is an actor as well, having played to great success a Bogart-style character in the award winning
Tangled Snarl.

Christopher Rozzi
After attending the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, Christopher Rozzi turned his attention towards performance and writing. Continuing to draw on his theatrical experiences to influence his art, his paintings convey a feeling of exaggeration, both in color and form. Many of the paintings are a celebration of women, presenting them with a sense of innocence and charm. All of Rozzi's work is done with latex and opaque marker on either compressed board, wood, cork board or canvas. www.rozziart.com. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of any artwork by Mr. Rozzi will benefit the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation. www.alzinfo.org
